Dehydration
If you’ve ever found yourself with a pounding head after a long night of drinking, the reason is because of dehydration. When you’re dehydrated, your blood volume drops, which means your brain is getting less oxygen, resulting in a headache.
It’s vital that you drink throughout the day, especially if you have an active lifestyle. Try to make it a habit of carrying around a water bottle everywhere that you go.
Iron Deficiency
An iron deficiency, also known as anemia, can lead to all sorts of symptoms from fatigue to headaches. There are many different causes for anemia; however, one of the most common is not having enough essential vitamins in your diet.
If you’re concerned that you may have anemia, talk to your doctor about what kind of solutions that may have for you. The good news is, it’s completely reversible if you catch the problem.
Hormones
A lot of women suffer from headaches during their menstrual cycles. This is because leading up to menstruation; females bodies drop in estrogen which often triggers migraines. In addition to menstruating women, it may also happen to pregnant women.
