Founded in 1927, Little Shelter is the oldest no-kill humane society in Suffolk County. We rescue dogs and cats from as near as the New York metro area and from as far away as Arkansas. No companion animal is turned away because he/she is considered unadoptable because we believe every life is precious. Little Shelter helps people in the community who have pet related problems.
