Great video! I love to watch my Zebra finches take baths--they're FAR more messy about it than neat little Patrick here--but so far I've not been able to capture it on film. (They don't like people peeking at them during their ablutions.)

thanks...my doves are really easy to give baths to and my canary...the others it takes a little while...and they are a lot messier...

Very interesting technique, Patrick....I tried to get Tooth to watch, hoping he would catch on, but he was too busy preening!

your best bet would to be just to put him in a small amount of water and see how he reacts that how we learned that Patrick likes baths...he is really funny.

Oh, we've tried that! He panics and hops out as quickly as he can. He's a real water phobe. The only way we can get him to bathe is with a fine mister---he's wet before he realizes it....but if he notices us with it, he hides before we get to use it!
