Appalachian Horse Help & Rescue Inc

We rescue abandoned, unwanted and abused horses. We have non-profit status and are staffed solely by volunteers and depend on donations from the public. We work closely with our local SPCA as they cannot house large animals. Our outreach program is intended to teach the public about horses where we take our mascot, Pebbles a Shetland pony, to nursing homes, elementary schools and other public functions to show how much one of these great animals can add to someone's life.
