I had to take it back because he figured out how to get out of it really fast. He would put his front legs in the neck part and snap it open. He would do it so fast, I couldn't even tell how he did it at first.
Kath, this is so adorable! With that harness and leash, it is clearly obvious that Rigatoni is on a mission...One to make an obstacle course for you! I loved it! lol
He's got us all hooked in. The males usually are more active than the females. I think it probably has something to do with a nesting instinct with the females. I had forgotten how funny the little guys can be...they give you a run for your money.
That was cute.I'm wait for Flip to get bigger for i can use a ferret harness on him.the iguana ones arn't very good.I have one he doesn't mind it.But i don't trust it to hold him.He is strong when he wants to be.
This was a ferret/guinea pig harness. Paige told me that small cat/dog harnesses are stronger. That's what I'm going to look for. I wouldn't trust this for the outdoors since his is a really fast runner.
HOW CUTE IS THAT!!!!!! LOVE the harness *AND matching leash!
and he's pretty smart that little Mousemannnnnn......went straight to the hay didn't he!!!
I'm going to look for a small cat harness instead. He figured out how to get out of it. He'd take his front legs and pull the front part off his head and slip out of the back part in a second and take off. I was afraid to make it tighter so I wouldn't choke him. He kept doing it so fast, I couldn't tell how he did it, until I picked him up and saw his leg in there. He's a real stinker!
Rigatoni is a guinea pig I adopted from a rabbit rescue. He'd been there for about 6 months and, although many people came to look at him, no one has wanted him. Poor baby... He's an adult and I don't know his age, but he's as sweet as they come. read more
