lol Oh Denise I just had this experience on last Friday. Though I found the nest and decided I would put baby back in nest. Momma was watching and every time I tried to pick up baby to put in nest Momma deceded to dive bomb me. Though that wasn't enough she called her hubby, so I was trying to put baby back and mom and dad decided I was a threat and kept dive bombing me over the head lol. I was yelling at them I'm trying to help! I swear any one would of saw thought I was nuts I kept lurching. Finially called my hubby out to distract them and got baby back in nest. Though I was shocked didn't think Robins were that aggresive lol. This video is so sweet and precious, be thankful you didn't know where nest was, cause see you doing same! lol

She is still coming around today but I can't find where the baby is hiding. She is keeping it a secret!

Thanks! Mommy bird was still around tonight in the same area but I could not find where the baby was hiding. The mom was would not take her eyes off him except when she went for food which wasn't too far away.
I do not think it will survive the night on the ground :(

This was so awesome to watch! Mom came back a number of times to feed her lost baby. She strarts many yards away and scopes things out, then moves in a little closer only to stop and scope things out again. It takes her quite awhile to move in to feed. Baby is near the street so she has to start all over if a car drives by.
