Butte Humane is the story of a shelter with a big heart! We care for more than 5,500 dogs and cats each year. With the bad economy putting a huge strain on all of us, it is clear that our facility is holding us back, greatly limiting our ability to reach out and do more. Our too-small and dilapidated facility is 60 years old. Our roof leaks. Our ventilation and drainage systems are outdated and in some areas nonexistent, leading to many health issues for the animals.
