It reminds me of a Beatles song which contained words regarding carrying weight for a long time...
I would guess the poor feline is hoping the rodents are full grown and won't get heavier...and for they're sake if they aren't, I hope the rodents get full grown and wise up before feline thinks they are just at a purrfect plumpness.
That is amazing...such unlikely friends. Very Furry Cute.
