A 3 year old grandson sounds like a dream. I'll bet you enjoy every second with him! I recall my son being much more rough play than my daughter. He would take everything apart. My daughter liked to sit and look at books.

You will have grandchildren soon enough. My oldest grandson is 31 and has 2 kids of his own and one on the way. This 3 yr old is the youngest grandchild. I have 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

I hate to admit Pikachu eats junk food. She would not eat when I first got her. She was all skin and bones. I even talked to her foster mom to see how she was there. I finally got Kaytee Fiesta and she loved it. I add Cavy Cuisine in it so she gets the good stuff, too. The others eat Cavy Cuisine.

I wondered if you fed them the mix. I buy the mix once in a while basically for a treat and when I buy it it is the Kaytee Fiesta too.

What Pikachu loves the best are the pumpkin seeds. I made my own around Halloween. She wouldn't touch them. I bought some from Whole Foods...nope! It has to be those in the Kaytee mix. :-)
