They are. I remember them from my grandmother's house. When my uncle was here for Christmas, the December before he passed in January, he brought me these lights. I was so surprised that he picked me of all the grandkids to give them too. He said this way we could all enjoy them. The next year my father and mother in law gave me another set, cuz they saw how happy I was to get the first set....which makes me happy too.
