Four Paws And A Tail Pet Sitting was started over 10 years ago when owner and animal lover Sherri DeChaine, a veterinary technician, realized that many pet care services turned away special needs pets, leaving their owners with no place to bring them for vacations and such.

We have been a trusted pet care service since 2000 offering affordable dog walking, in-home pet sitting, overnight pet care and pet taxi service. We also offer medication, injection and post surgical visits.

We are veterinary technician owned and operated, not just CPR and first aid certified like many other pet care services, but trained and experienced with 8 years of real life medical emergency skills.

Special needs pets, senior pets and all breeds (especially bullies) are always welcome!

We are available for emergency pet sitting, dog walking and pet taxi service at no extra charge, and we never charge extra fees for holidays.

We offer cardio walking and running for dogs that need to be tired out. Sherri is also a certified "human" personal trainer and will leave your perky pup tuckered and tired!

Do you have a handicapped or senior pet that can no longer go for the walks that they once loved? Well we can help with that...We have a "Custom Dog Stroller" that can hold up to 110 lbs so that your handicapped dog can still go for walks in the comfort of our stroller.

Four Paws And A Tail is very active with many rescue organizations and local shelters, we offer our pet match-making services for free. Sherri and Lisa have helped many families find their new best friend through local rescues and shelters. Please consider adoption first when looking for a new furry family member.
