Great place to lodge your pet, but pricey

we took our bullmastiff here when we first got her for two reasons: 1. we were referred by friends and 2. they are one of the only animals lodges that will allow dogs that are too young to be neutered. we had such a hard time finding a place to take roxy because we had to wait 6 months to have her fixed. the animal lodge at alameda fit the bill. they are very friendly and the staff is knowledgeable about animals in general and know their customers (and more importantly, their pets) well. also, they are connected with the animal hospital, which makes you even more comfortable about where your dog is and it allows for late pick-ups! the only downside is the price. the lodging is expensive and almost everything costs extra (additional costs for all day play, a daily walk, etc.).
