I have been going here for years and years. The staff is the best, and the vets are fantastic.Very knowledgable and compassinate.They really work hard to help us with shelter animals. ...if they are injured or just need to be spayed or neutered. HSOP got a call on a dog that was hit by a car, our officer took it to Avet that night. The next day one of HSOP board member, Debbie Hines took it to PVH. He had a broken leg ,broken hip and was bruised up.Dr Rhodes performed surgery fixing the leg and hip.He is a very good Orthopedics vet....The dog is doing great in foster care now. About 3 weeks ago my cat Mickey got really sick with a bad case of upper respiratory and I was scared I would lose him. Dr. Shockey said we have had alot of these cases lately.He'll have a few rough days but I think he will be fine.....and in a week he was. Thanks to the capabilities of Dr.Rhodes, Dr.Shockey, Dr.Lech, Dr.Casto and Dr.Cunningham we have great animal
