Caring and compassion for elderly pets

I moved to the area in 1998, this vet was one of 3 recommended to us. We went in and were impressed with their personal knowledge of their clients and willingness to refer outside when there was an issue that could not be handled in house. In 2000 our beagle pit bull was diagnosed with Cushings, the vet did everything possible to ensure that she was not in pain, and keep her healthy otherwise. In 2004, at 18 Sasha woke up one morning vomiting and unable to keep even water down. The vet did everything they could to help her but in the end nothing could be done. Everyone there was very supportive and caring. They have even opened up and met us there at night to handle issues. In early march we went through the heartache of losing Dusty, our 17 year old shepherd collie, again the vet was there for us and always helpful.
