Review Details
I brought my dog there, a very expensive Bullmastiff bred in Europe and her lineage went back to 1939, London. I took here there when we first moved up here. She was walking like she was drunk and having vision problems. The vet we were seeing, Theresa, I believe it was Brewer, said that it was a neurological problem and told us we should take her to a neurologist. We got a second opinion from Captian Smith at Ft. Drum. He said it was not neurological. We went back and forth to this Theresa woman for months. I did my own research on the internet as to other causes with the same symptoms. We went back at least twice a week trying to get some answers but all this vet did was stand there with her arms folded saying,"It's neurological." She wouldn't even touch the dog. After speaking with our old vet in NYC I told her to run some blood work. Turned out she had a double infection of Neospora and Toxoplasmosis. I didn't even get an apology, she just said she was surprised at the results. She then bombarded her with like 4 or 5 antibiotics (one was an equestrian antibiotic) but it was too late. She lost her battle thanks to this womans smugness. This earth lost the gentlest creature that ever lived, she was only 2 years old.
