Valley Veterinary Hospital

While my horse, Chance was still living, Dr. Hayden provided excellent care. We experienced general checkups, house calls and a floating at Valley Vet. Sadly, I feel the customer service slipped a little when we needed it most. Our horse was struck suddenly with neurologic symptoms and declined rapidly. So rapidly that we requested that someone come and put him down immediately. No one was available to come (which we didn't know because of poor communication) until 5:30 that evening. We called another vet to come take care of the procedure due to the emergent nature of the situation (Our horse had been unable to get up since 10 am and had been falling all throughout the last 36 hours). Granted, Dr. Hayden was on vacation and they were doing what they could. However, I think it could have been handled in a much better way. Our poor horse had to suffer hours longer than he should have. If they had been fully staffed, I'm sure this would not have been the case.

Pros: Dr. Hayden, Equine facilities are well-equipped.

Cons: Difficulty in getting appointments in moments of dire need.

this is the best place in town to take your pets! everyone is very friendly and helpful.
