Vca Parkway Animal Hospital

Had my older female dog spayed through this clinic. They got her in same day as her first exam. She was in heat when we had her spayed, but they assured us all would be well. She stayed overnight for the procedure, all in all we payed almost $550. We were offered to have an extra bag of blood on hand during the surgery considering that she was in heat, but they wanted an extra $45 up front. I was told that they would deffinately give her blood if she needed it wether I payed up front or not, so I did not see the need for that. They also charged me an additional $10 to have a heated blanket put in her kennel post-surgery!! This should be included with every surgery. Treatment was excellent, but their ridiculous add-ons were trying.

Pros: got us in promptly, knowledgeable staff

Cons: high prices, unreasonable upcharges
