When we got our mastiff, we were told by the breeder to find a vet that is certified to take care of the giant breeds. Giant breeds do have special needs of their own.

We have been taking Gris to this vet ever since we have owned him. They are excellent with him. He
really enjoys going to see them. He even has one room that he considers his and heads right to it when we go in.

When he had a tumor (which was benign) they biopsied it 2 times to make sure of the results.

Pros: They are certified to deal with the giant breed dogs.

Cons: It is clear across town from us.
