Chico Animal Hospital

I have been g oing there for a year and the staff always answeredmy questions pretty thoroughly and knowledgeably. When my dog was howling and was put in the back room temporarily to wait her turn for her shot, I wanted to be with my dog when she got her shot and the staff let me be in the room when they gave her her shot. They gave her the shot quickly and easily and talked to her nicely to calm her down. They could only empty one side of the anal glands so they didnt charge me for it, that was nice of them. They explained each medicine and even told me I could find other lower cost places to buy medicine than the vet office. The vet left me detailed voice mail messages while I was in school, so I knew what was going on with my dog when she had injured her leg and might need further treatment. They promptly gave me my dog's medical records when I asked for them and explained the different vaccinations I needed. I appreciated their time, courtesy and explanations. Overall rating: very good.

Chico Animal Hospital is great!! The vet and the staff are knowlegable and friendly. My dog always gets treated great and all his needs are met. I also like that the vet is open to alternatives, like herbs and such. being an acupuncturist for small animals is an added bonus!! I can only highly recommend him.
