Grass Valley Veterinary Hospital

When I moved I needed to get my dog in for a Heartworm test since I missed renewing his medication. My mom suggested I go here as that's where she and my sister take their pets.

I took my dog on a Saturday (yes they're open) with no appointment necessary (so you really hope it's not busy). The staff was really nice. When we got back to a room the lady didn't make Barkley get on the cold table. She knelt down and checked him where he was. I think this is easier for her and probably more comforting to him. The wait wasn't too long and Barkley wasn't scared. It was really important that Barkley liked it here because he absolutely adores the other place and I have no problem driving him 2 hours to see his favorite vet, but now I don't have to!

This is a great vet office. It has a big waiting room to spread out in if you need to. There's cookies at the front desk. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Everyone is knowledgable and my dog loves going here.
