We have been going there since we adopted out first cat, Walter. Although he had be declawed there, something which I am VERY against. I did find Dr Mel to be caring and kind. He was very good with us also when Walter passed away.
Dr Mel has now retired and we've seen two of the new vets, both of which we were very happy with.
Pros: Nice caring vets
Cons: The original vet did declaw

I too have met volunteers from this organization. They work hard for the animals and they don't mind helping other groups out as well. They are all there for the animals. Good group. Adopt form them.
