Adobe Animal Hospital

So I have a new kitty and they gave her a clean bill of health here. She does have an eye problem the is chronic,but they have her on supplements. i was also able to find a pet sitter here too. One stop vets.

We have been going to Adobe since we moved to the area 4 years ago and they are by far the best rat vets I've ever had. Not only are they very conscientious, but they are willing to listen if you have ideas or you've found new research. They are also one of the few hospitals that will let you stay by your pet's side during all procedures (even surgery, yikes). We just brought home Crazy from the ICU today after she had a bad episode with her respiratory infection, and they were really great the whole time.

I generally use three different vets: Dr, Nakamura is a genius with surgery; Dr. Derenzi is great with medicine, has a rat and is really funny; Dr. Koga is great with all-around problem solving. I've used others there but these three are my favorites.

I've seen all kinds of animals there...even a wallaroo! And today a local police officer was there - his canine partner is a patient there. So if you can get to them, I recommend them highly for any critter. Definitely worth the extra cost and a bit of a drive.

Pros: knowledgeable, willing to collaborate, friendly, value pets

Cons: expensive, a little far from me
