The best animal hospital
posted 6 years ago
VMSG was so thorough and helpful for both of my dogs. When we had to put one of our dogs to sleep, she had been receiving chemo for 6 months, and everyone there knew her and loved her and made her feel at home...after everything was done and I went back to personally thank the Doctor we'd worked with for all her help, she started tearing up, which showed me how much she truly cared about my dog. Everyone there sent us sympathy cards with personal messages about Laura (the dog we lost)...I trusted the doctors so much, and I think they helped us make the best decisions which saved her life for 6 months.
Pros: amazing staff and doctors
Cons: it's never fun to get bad news about your animal...

Best Doctors Around
posted 6 years ago
I have taken a couple of my pets here, and the doctors here are great. The fact that interns are mostly what you get when you come in on emergency is very misleading. These "interns" are still doctors who have graduated from Vet School, and are here to learn more specialized trades, rather than just GP work. These "interns" also have the availability of asking any one of the specialists for advice, if needed. Although the owner may never see the specialist, the patient will. I wouldn't trust any other facility in a life-or-death situation. I have complete confidence in all the doctors who work here. I am very grateful that such a specialty hospital is within driving distance.
Pros: Board certified specialists, Open 24/7
Cons: Very Pricey

I enjoy browsing through Petsmart. They have a stable selection of toys and supplies but also rotate some stock so it's always fun to go in. (Note: this is about Petsmarts in general -… more ›
