Dr G's new hospital is beautiful
posted 5 years ago
I first started seeing Dr. Gallerstein in 1994, my first encounter with him was on Thanksgiving Day when my bunny stopped eating. I panicked and took her to Dr. Gallerstein at Acacia Animal Hospital (the old one). Despite my having called him away from his Thanksgiving Day family festivities he was very understanding, professional, and reassuring. My bunny, naturally, acted (and was) totally fine by the time I got to the hospital. I felt like a dork, but he understood my concerns. A friend of mine had just lost her bunny who had refused to eat in the AM and had died by that afternoon. The cost . . . mind you this was over 10 years ago, was very reasonable.
The new hospital that he and his partners just built is beautiful. They have a great bunch of doctors and staff too.
Pros: Dr. Gallerstein knows his stuff & hires good staff, beautiful hospital
Cons: Evening hours are limited.
