Bonita Pet Hospital & Emergency Clinic

I used Bonita Pet Hospital as my general vet clinic. The initial check-up went ok although it was a little expensive. On a later visit, our dog was being seen because he started over-producing urine. We were charged extra for a urine sample being taken via needle from the bladder because they said my constantly urinating dog wouldn’t urinate. The initial blood and urine samples were lost or not used soon enough. The hospital admitted fault for the problem but then tried to charge us to take the samples again. I'm not sure what happened, but my once vet-loving dog became extremely fearful of going there. I believe they are probably good at what they do, but if it’s not an emergency I’d suggest finding a more reasonably priced veterinarian with a good record by getting references from friends.

Pros: Good hours, separate entrances for dogs and cats.

Cons: Not the best service as a general clinic.

Great place to take emergencies, they're always thinking about the health of the animal and happiness of the owner, unlike some other emergency hospitals in the san diego area. Price's have gone up but it's still a great hospital. Great staff of doctors.

Pros: Nice and friendly staff, great emergency hospital.

Cons: Price's can be a little high depending.
