Beeley Ronald L DVM

Dr Beeley is the senior doctor at the VCA - Central Animal Hospital. This hospital is a large referal hospital with ten doctors that has a veterinarian and staff on the premises 24 hours a day. He is the senior surgeon with a particular interest in orthopedic surgery including complex long bone fractures and joint surgery. In his 28th year of practice, he has repaired over 3,000 fractures in animal as diverse as Guinea Pigs, birds, reptiles, monkeys, deer, as well as the many cats and dogs. Because torn cruciate ligament problems are as common in the canine population as they are in the human population, Dr Beeley now repairs 3 to 6 knees each week. He uses both the lateral suture technique as well as the Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO) to restabilize these damaged knees. Dr Beeley also serves as the emergency surgeon 24 hours a day, being on call for critical surgeries such as canine bloat/torsion and C - sections. His years of surgical experience allow clients in the Pomona/Ontario metroplex to have serious problems resolved without having to drive their animals into Los Angeles or down to the Orange County metroplex. Dr Beeley also teaches surgery to 3rd and 4th year veterinary students from the nearby Western Veterinary School. He also performs surgery for eight other hospitals in the area when needed. Dr Beeley can be seen by appointment some mornings and Sunday evening.
