Living in a small community in Northern New Mexico is a test of endurance and ingenuity. Rio Arriba county is demographically the poorest in the state and the availability of medical services for people AND pets is a constant worry. Thank heavens I have found Dr. Leroy Martinez just 16 miles away in Cebolla. Lacking the resources for a state-of-the-art facility, he and his wife, Donna, nevertheless bring a level of skill, responsiveness, and compassion that would make a big city proud. I have four pooches, two of whom are nearing the end of their wonderful lives. It is a constant comfort to me that Dr. Martinez is just a phone call away.
