After having been in the veterinary industry for 20 years,I hope that the hospital will post the veterinarians oath on the wall and make all the doctors read it. Maybe they will think about why they wanted to become a veterinarian. "I solemnly swear to use my scientific knowledge and skills for the benefit of society through the protection of animal health, the relief of animal suffering, the conservation of livestock resources, the promotion of public health and the advancement of medical knowledge.
I will practice my profession conscientiously, with dignity and in keeping with the principles of veterinary medical ethics.
I accept as a lifelong obligation the continual improvement of my professional knowledge and competence".
Learn to have some compassion for those who may not have a full bank account. I'm not talking about working for free. Just think twice before you put an animal down that has the potential for a full and happy life.
Cons: all about the money
