Because I had a retired racing greyhound, I took him to Southside as Dr. Yoakum regularly treats greyhounds. I found him knowledgeable and very familiar with the needs of my dog. Even when the diagnosis was not what I wanted to hear, I found the dr & staff professional and efficient as well as compassionate.

Pros: No appointment necessary, reasonable rates

Cons: Pretty far from my house

I have taken my pets here many times and have been satasified with every visit. There have been many times that I came in without an appointment when my dogs suddenly became ill. I have been going to this same vet for years and am pleased with the service.
