I am a petsitter and have contact with many vet facilities for my clients. This was the first vet that came out and personally met with me. I was impressed with her friendliness and the staff made me feel very welcome and gave me peace of mind. Needless to say, Allyson Dahlson became the doc for my fur kids.
I recently had my darling Layla Sioux in to see the vet due to a swelling in her neck. Allyson was very compassionate when the diagnosis was malignant lymphoma. She was helpful, gave me straight answers and though I was a mess, she provided me with the strength to watch for symptoms and finally, make the hardest decision I have ever had to make. Layla Sioux only lasted 6 days until it was time. I know that my girl was in loving hands, her passing was peaceful and I will be forever grateful for her professional, yet personal attention. Allyson started her puppy visits, and even though Layla was only 5 years old, she was the kind soul that was there at her end.
I have a new puppy, and my old gentleman. I have recommended Woodlawn many many times, and will continue to do so.
It's very comforting to have such a personal relationship with a competant vet.
