Emergency Animal Hospital - North

Unfortuately I had to go here on Christmas Eve a few years ago because Sparky was ready to go to the Rainbow Bridge. They were so nice and the resident cat came to see me and made me feel a bit better while filling out paperwork and crying. I've been here a few times since to visit with shelter dogs that had to go there in an emergency. The staff is always very nice and the Drs explain what's going on.

Pros: Compassionate and knowlegable staff

Cons: Can be hard to find

The staff have been helpful for a variety of 'do I need to worry about this' phone calls over the years. The office is conveniently located by 183, but you can easily miss the driveway and have to loop back around.

I unfortunately had to use a variety of their services when one of my dogs was very ill. They clearly communicated everything they planned to do and their plans if my dog's status changed. When the shift changed, the 2nd shift doctor called to update me. Before I picked up my dog in the morning, the doctor had called my regular vet to give her the details of the evening's efforts. I really appreciated their mix of compassion/communication with professional thoroughness.

Pros: friendly, helpful, keep you updated om animal's progress

Cons: easy to miss entrance to driveway
