I took my beloved Great Dane, Bryce of 10 years there when he was very sick. Bryce had seen 2 other vets, both more than once that had completely misdiagnosed him. I finally took him to see Dr. Johnson at Elgin and she took the time and really listened to what I was telling her and diagnosed him correctly on his first visit. My dogs will never see any other vet. You will never meet a more compassionate staff. Everyone there makes Elgin the most pleasurable experience for yourself and your companions.

I have used Elgin Veterinary Equine Hospital for years and have had wonderful service,especially by Dr. Lara Shreve. This facility is capable of handling everything from arthroscopic surgeries, colic surgery to lameness exams, AI, routine visits (coggins, shots) motorized dental floats, you name it, they can handle it. I highly recommend Dr. Shreve at Elgin Vet Hospital for all your equine needs.
