Parkside Animal Hospital

I was referred to them through a neighbour and a friend so I thought I would give them a try. My cat was 22 yrs old and near the end we had decided to take her in to have her eauthanized. Dr. H was compassionate and gave us options on blood tests to see what was wrong however, he also understood if we wanted to eauthanize her because she was very old. We opted for the tests and were fortunate enough to be able to treat her with antibiotics and special vitamins.We were able to have another 4 good quality months with her. When we did have to put her down they allowed me to stay with her and hold her until I was ready to leave and never made me feel that I had to vacate the room for the next patient. When I went to pick up her remains they had made a plaque for me that had Candys paw prints in them. The staff are attentive and very friendly. When the crematorium overcharged us they let us know and offered us a credit or refund. I highly suggest this office.

Pros: treat your pets as family/are compassionate/are very knowledgeable/in emergencys they always are able to find time to fit you in even if it extends to after hours

Cons: The only con is that after hours you are referred to a hospital and you don't get to speak to one of the Vets at that office.

Very knowledgeable, helpful and caring staff. Would recommed to friends.
