Called 2 minutes before closing with my extremely ill dog and Dr. Bonds and Katelyn stayed over an hour late to treat my baby girl. They were very concerned about her and what she was going through. Dr. Bonds called Dr. McKensie to determine treatment since Dr. McKensie usually treats my dog.

Pros: very caring and remembers my pet when I bring her in

Cons: little expensive

I started using Perkins Vet Clinic with each of my pets but soon discoverd that the staff is very pushy and judgmental regarding treatments for pets. They push every conceivable treatment and vaccine possible. They are also very expensive.

I didn't realize the difference until someone told me to try Western Vet and discovered that you vet and the clinic staff can be understanding and work with you to treat the animals in your care according to their needs as well as your financial means.

Pros: Open late and on weekends

Cons: no compassion for the pet owner's financial means
