when my dog rose bud got sick, i had to call them at 10pm and dr tom came to the clinic and saved my baby. he was home by himself with his baby and had to call a sitter to come to the office. he stayed there with us until 2 am.
she had to have a blood transfusion in the middle of the night and many other things. he gave us the medicines she would need and made sure that we new how to give her the shots that she would need over the next few days. she was hours away from dying. he was glad to answer any questions that i had and was very patient with us and rose.
come the next morning, rose was doing almost 100% better in our eyes. i called and left messages on his phone during the day to let him know how she was doing.
come that monday when we brought her in to have the port removed, both dr tom and dr stone came in to see her, along with all of the nurses and staff. they were so glad to see her. dr tom admitted that he was scared that she was not going to make it through the weekend, but he was so proud she did. he came over and gave her a wonderful pet and rose looked up at him with that knowing look, saying, hey i remember you, you helped me.
when we finally got the test results back a week later, we found out that rose had two different tick borne diseases. she was very lucky to have lived throuh this.
i would reccomend st francis vet clinic to everyone that i know. they are so wonderful, caring, and thoughtful. dr tom and dr stone are great people.
Pros: very caring about pets and owners
Cons: none that i have found
