Great Veterinary Services, Dedicated to Community
posted 8 years ago
This vet clinic has a professional staff that goes out of their way to assist in not only emergency vet care but routine maintenance and preventative care. I use this vet clinic for my personal pets which range from cats, dogs, and miniature donkeys. They lend support and continuous assistance to The Animal Shelter of Texas County (TASTC) with the hundreds of animals that have been brought in to TASTC. On many occasions this clinic has opened their doors to perform emergency surgeries when given short notice. They are committed to provide complete and concise veterinarian care.
Pros: Knowledgeable staff and DVM's

We drove an hour to get a westie they had advertised. When we got to the clinic he was a welsh terrier. No big deal they were very friendyl. We took Scamp anyways. Very clean office. They even bathed the dog before we took him home.
Pros: friendly staff
Cons: some confusion over breeds

Texas County vet clinic is a good place to take your animals. Their prices are very reasonable and Dr. Keeney and Dr. Root are very good vets.
I go 100 mile round trip to go there. Sure there is a vet closer to where I live, but I would rather go to Texas county clinic where I know I will get good care for my animals. Also, Holly who is one of the receptionist is very good to animals. Always taking in strays and helping them get homes. Kudos to her!
Pros: Their prices are reasonable.
Cons: I live 50 miles from the clinic.
