Super Caring

posted 5 years ago

We had to take our dog Tasha here to be put down on a weekend and the care that she and our family recieved was second to none. They gave us a comfortable room to spend our last moments with her, they allowed her to lay with us in there, they put her in a coffin, it was the hardest thing we ever had to do, but they allowed us to make sure that she left the world peaceful, and with dignity.

Pros: Awesome Staff

Cons: Expensive

Good but expensive

posted 5 years ago

They are great with knowing what to do in case of an animal emergency. Open 24 hours and very caring about the animals. The only problem is the fact that all services must be paid at time of service, which can leave out animals who need help. I would encourage working with the local vets, or have a "25% payment down payment plan" of some sort to help people who may not have 100 plus dollars on hand at 4am when their cat eats a hand warmer! Other than that they are great for questions and help! I would recommend them if you need ER services for your pet.

Now I have totally changed my review. This place has the most evil, animal hating policy ever created. I called them telling them I can not pay until June 9th due to the flooding here in Fargo and the evacuations and flood fighting taking up my money. My cat has been sick, inhaled pine sol which I did not know was toxic to cats. They said they will not see him unless I can pay up front. They said I can surrender him and they will treat him, and find him a home, or euthanize him if they can't. So basically due to a natural disaster eating up my money, they will not see a cat for a medical emergency. They would rather have it so I lose my baby boy, or him being killed, rather than wait a damn month for a payment. Sorry for the swearword but this is uncalled for. I hope my cat will be okay, I can't let him go. I would rather kill myself off then lose him because some assholes at the SUPPOSED vet ER who CLAIM to CARE about animals won't see him due to money issues. I hope the CEO of this place burns in the fiery pits of Hades for the evil love of money and lack of caring he is showing for animal emergencies. I pray my cat will be okay, and hope I can find someone willing to help me get him seen today. I would pay June 9th, 2009 when my financial aid comes in. What is the use of a vet ER if they won't help you. Most people can't afford the bills up front. Their policy should be illegal, I should sue the hell out of them if something happens to my baby boy due to their money hungry ways. I am sitting here crying right now scared. God help me find a vet willing to see him and wait for payment till June 9. PLEASE!

Pros: Willing to help, cares about animals

Cons: must pay up front, expensive

Great Pets

This pet store has an island theme--Jimmy Buffett-esque. The store is a bit dark with their lighting, but does have some huge aquariums with a wonderful assortment of tropical and freshwater fish. T… more ›
