This Clinic Treats Guinea Pigs

posted 6 years ago

When we adopted our second guinea pig from the local animal humane society, a free initial vet check up was included in our adoption fee. We chose this vet clinic from a list of clinics that participate in this program because of their location and the fact that they were one of only a few that treat guinea pigs.
The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. The vet had a student shadowing him while he examined our new guinea, and it impressed me that he took time to explain to the student exactly what he was doing. He also took the time to explain it to us. He was always more than willing to answer all of our questions.
The front desk staff was also very friendly as they gathered around to see our baby guinea pig.
This is a vet clinic that makes you feel that you are part of their family the minute you step inside, and it gives you confidence that they are there with your animal’s best interests in mind.

Pros: One of only few vets that treat guinea pigs, great staff

Cons: None
