Elkhorn Veterinary Clinic

I have taken my animals here a couple times, mostly in emergency situations (I have a couple older cats). I did go there originally with a couple animals for routine checkups. Their pricing is extremely high both for regular visits and emergency. However, the place is spotless, Dr. Gould and Dr. Williamson are both extremely knowledgeable and nice, and they are quick to respond to emergencies. If they weren't so overpriced, I would take my animals there exclusively.

My dog, Beau, was hit by a car late one foggy night, and taken to the Elkhorn Veterinary Clinic for a possibly broken leg and internal damage. The veterinarian that cared for him was wonderful! Not only did he explain everything and take excellent care of my Beau, but he and the rest of the staff were a joy to deal with. The next day, we ended up having to bring him back for a checkup, and we were thrilled to receive the same excellent treatment we had the night before. The techs even carried my miniature moose in for me! (He was having trouble walking at the time.) Beau now requires knee surgery to correct the damage caused by the accident, but he's otherwise in great health and spirits, and will definitely be going back to Elkhorn Veterinary Clinic for all of his puppy health needs.

Pros: caring, knowledgeable, clean, helpful, understanding, accessible, etc.

Cons: I can't think of anything at the moment.
