West Main Animal Hospital

I can't speak highly enough of West Main Animal Hospital and the wonderful care they've provided my dogs and cats over the years. We've had several tough cases with rescue animals we've adopted and they've provided excellent support with all. We've referred several friends who had been struggling to get to the root cause their dogs' skin conditions and Dr. Marion Gorham was quick to solve the problem in all cases.

Pros: Great Vets and Staff, Reasonable Rates

Cons: Close at 5pm

I use this vet because it is the most cost efficeint in town. However, my cat got ear mites from the shelter we brought him home from, but they went unnoticed upon his first visit to the vet. When we took him back 4 weeks later after we noticed them to get them looked at and get medication, the vet said that it looked like about 4 weeks worth of growth. Go figure... I asked why she didn't check for them when we first brought him in and she said she forgot. oops :(

Pros: Simple atmosphere keeps prices much lower than the competitors

Cons: A little rundown, minimal staff.
