Okemos Animal Hospital

My dog was neutered here because my vet does not do that. The neutering part seemed to go really well, however, while he was sedated they decided to give him a nail clipping that was a disaster. After this, Winston would not let me trim his nails without biting, growling, and throwing a big fit for about a year. Half of his nails were cut way too short, leaving his feet very sensitive. He seemed to have more trouble with this than the surgery! I know they were trying to be nice, but it was horrible.

Pros: Their hours were good.

Cons: I didn't like the extra services they performed...

Both my dogs have been to the Okemos Animal Hospital and I really enjoy the service that they provide there. The doctors are always helpful, especially Dr. Alfonso. They do not overcharge or try to add on extra service as some vets I've been to have. I am just sad to say that I've moved and am too far away to go there any more :-(

Pros: friendly staff and doctors who are willing to take the time to talk with you about all of your pet's needs

Cons: nothing
