Love our vet!

posted 7 years ago

I have been taking my furry babies to Noah's for more than 5 years. I originally picked them because they were open 24-h, and I had an elderly, sick kitty. We have stayed with them because they are wonderful! It is always clean and pleasant, and the staff really go out of their way to make you and your babies comfortable.

My 1st cat was 14y when I took her there. Two other vets had told me that she had kidney disease and should be euthanized. The vets at Noah's said that was ridiculous - she was still a happy cat! We started her on blood pressure medicine, and she did great! The following year, they taught me how to do subcutaneous fluids at home. And she lived another 2 happy, active years after that! She finally died at home, curled up in her favorite spot, very peacefully. Though I miss her terribly, I think her death was as gentle as possible. And I thank God that I did not listen to those other vets - cutting 3 happy years off of her life and ending it with a needle. I am so, so thankful for the Noah's staff. After she died, Noah's was very supportive and helped me arrange her cremation.

They are also wonderful with my other 3 companion animals. Couldn't be happier with their service!

Pros: open 24-h, very kind staff

Cons: not close to home

Great Service

posted 8 years ago

One reason we chose this vet was how close it is to where we live, the other reason is because it is a 24 hour emergency center and we wanted them to know our newest baby and his records. I recently got a Shiba Inu puppy and when we took him for his second set of shots, he had a bad reaction. His leg swelled, he became lethargic, cried when touched and was hot. The parvo shot did a number on him. After a couple of hours of watching him we called them and took him in. He was given a couple of shots to counteract the ones he already had gotten. In short, they were kind, considerate, compassionate - and since they had given him the shot, they refunded all emergency charges. They even flagged his files so they know his issue and the treatment given. Great staff.

Pros: Great service with knowlegable staff

Cons: More expensive
