When I first moved to this town, I counted myself extremely lucky. I rented a house directly behind this vet. I owned two dogs, one of which was a rescue greyhound. By contract, I am required to seek out a vet licensed to deal with the rescue greyhounds. This vet clinic was the one my rescue directed me to. I was elated! I wouldn't have to load her up, tranquilize her for her nerves for the trip...wonderful! When I went to the vet to set up an appointment, I was rudely informed that they had no openings. I asked to be placed on a list as I HAD to use their services or risk having my dog removed from my home. I knew, unfortunately, that dogs pass away and obviously openings would arise. I was informed there was no such list. Even after requesting another greyhound vet in a nearby town, I was merely told they couldn't help me. I was turned away without any effort for help. Although they have a good reputation, I feel their interest is more in the almighty dollar than helping people and their pets. If they aren't going to help the greyhounds they are certified for, they need to take this off as a service.

Pros: They have a good reputation.

Cons: They are often full and take on no new patients.
