I would give these people 10 stars if I could!!! They treat my animals like they are their own. Everyone is always smiling and friendly. My animals enjoy the attention from the staff. I have several pets and I feel like I am at the vet all the time for something... appts., meds., etc... The staff always asks how my "herd" is doing. If one of my pets is sick or gets "fixed," someone always calls from the vet the following day to check on them. Price-wise, they are very, very reasonable. The care and service is absolutely unbeatable!!! I have used this vet for 10 years and will continue to do so!! Country Critters is awesome!!!!

(Given that Dr. Shepherd has left the Bloomington clinic where we were lucky enough for our dog to be under her care, I am writing my review under her new practice in Monrovia, IN.)

Dr. R. Shepherd is the epitome of great veterinary care. Not only was she caring and extremely patient with my 12-year-old dog (who had always become an aggressive monster at the vet before Dr. Shepherd found a way to soothe her), but she also clearly explained procedures and followed-up with us by phone and email. I only wish that we had met her earlier in our dog's life, and that she had not left Bloomington for a far-away clinic. If you live in or near Monrovia, consider yourself lucky to have Dr. Shepherd.
