I brought a very sick ferret in after hours. After an exam, I was told adrenal surgery was needed and would cost $2,000. Since there was no way I could afford that, I was forced to put my pet to sleep. Needless to say, I was devastated.

I found another vet in the same city that is just as knowledgeable with ferrets and the same surgery would have cost me $250.00 + pain meds.

If I knew then what I know now I believe my first ferret pet would have had a longer life.

On a positive note, this group does operate a wildlife center and does rehab wildlife. I applaud their rescue efforts but wish they were a little kinder in their regular vet office.

Pros: Vets care for a variety of companion and exotic animals

Cons: VERY expensive!

This place even takes care of baby tigers. So when I was visiting in Columbus and had to have emergency care for my father's aggressive chow they were able to handle it fine. I found them extremely competent, and very caring. My twin uses them all the time for her aging pet family. She tried to rate them a 5 but it was her first review and she didn't know that no matter how many stars she gave them, if she didn't click the fishbowl it would not register as anything but 1. So the review below should have been a 5 star as well. THESE GUYS ARE GREAT!
