The first time I visited Dunnellon Animal Hospital was with a friend and her gravely ill best friend. Dr. Witte was beyond kind at a difficult time.

The second time I visited it was with my Scout, whom I had had less then 2 days. He too was gravely ill, but this time it was not beyond Dr. Witte's help. I had rescued Scout from a rescue out of my area. It turned out that he was positive for parvo. They would treat him, but we had to drive him an hour and a half to their vet. Dr. Witte treated Scout with some fluids and antibiotics for the ride.

While he was in treatment I had questions and the rescue's vet was not helpful. The staff at Dunnellon Animal Hospital took their time to answer my questions and help me get through a scary, difficult time.

My Scout is a happy health boy now and I have no doubt that it would not be that way if it were not for Dunellon Animal Hospital. The staff and doctors treat each and everyone of their patients like family. I couldn't even imagine going anywhere else, even though there are about 10 offices closer to my home.

Thank you Dunnellon Animal Hospital for taking care of my little boy!! He means so much to me and you "get" that!!

PS - They also recently treated a K-9 Deputy that was injured on the job!
