If you're looking for routine care or vaccinations, Banfield has a reputation for trying to sell you way more than you need. These unnecessary immunizations may be harmful or could possibly cause reactions. Call around town or search online so you'll know exactly what your pet needs (if possible) before selecting a clinic. A couple of great information resources are the local Humane Society (850-224-9193 or www.lchs.info) and the animal shelter (850-891-2950).
Pros: If you shop at Petsmart, it's convenient.
Cons: Pricing, extent of "care" provided.
