Oakwood's staff is very knowledgable, the service was fast. And Dr. Hope is a great veterianian. But, I found that it was very pricey. My dog had an ear infection, and I left with an almost $200 dollar bill that included ear anti-biotic, ear cleaning solution, the ear flush and one months heart worm. maybe im spoiled by my last vet's office.

My daughter and I found a turtle who had gotten run over by a car. It's shell was cracked, but not really bad. I thought it could be saved so we put it in a box and took it over to Oakwood. We chose Oakwood because it was late at night and we heard they accepted wild animals. We took the turtle there and we got friendly fast service. The only thing I was not pleased with is when we asked if we could call back to see how the turtle was I got a kind of run around answer. Perhaps they thought it would not live and did not want to say so in fornt of my daughter, but it would have been nice to hear something. We were told we could call back but that the morning people might not know about the turtle because they may have to take it elsewhere? But they did take it in and they don't charge for dropping of wild animals.
