Living in Charlotte, I have an array of veterinarians and hospitals to choose from. Someone recommended Palmetto Vet and Dr. Love in McConnells, SC. Although Palmetto Vet is 40 miles (one way) for me, it is well worth the drive. Dr. Love and his staff are very caring, very thorough, and obviously love animals. Their prices are much cheaper than I normally pay in Charlotte. I will continue to take my pets to Palmetto Vet. Thanks Dr. Love!!

Our very loved dog was hit by an automobile sometime throughout the night. Very earlt the next morning we found her to have drug herself to our doorstep, which is approx. 50 ft from the road. Thinking that I did not want to continually move her. I promply put her in the car and drove 30 mins to her vets office, and waited 45 mins for them to open. No one would help me in the parking lot because they werent opened, and once they opened, they refused treatment, stating they did not do orthopedics. They reffered me to a vt tht wasoveran hour away. They wouldnt even come to the car to check her! After waiting over and hour now, I made several calls to other vets, no one was open. Finally Dr. Love's office said to bring her in immediately! They treated her with so much love, they carried her from the car,(she is quite large), and they had her ready to begin her neccesary treatment. What a great experience it was. W shouldveben going there from the beginning! I would recommend them to anyone in the area! The are very clean and prompt, and inexpensive also! Ou animals LOVE them too!

Pros: The staff is very helpful, and genuinely caring.
