dr. dean has always been the most caring vet. goes out of his way to help my family and pets. my mother had just died and my father's dog needed to be put to sleep due to cancer. dr. dean came to my parents house and put their dog to sleep and offered to help me bury their dog before leaving. he lets you know what options are available for your pets care. my family has dealt with his clinic since it has opened. I can't say enough good things about him.

My dog had a swelling on his leg and I took him to Raeford Animal clinic where they did x rays. They referred me to Southern Oaks to get digital x rays and the vet moved the dog's head and said it was his neck! Didn't touch the leg or do an xray! He gave me 2 prescriptions which have doe nothing to help the dog. Between the 2 vets I spent over $300 and now can't afford to go to another vet until next pay at the end of the month! I do NOT recommend this vet
